Artist Biography: Jaquon Desso was Born and raised in Magnolia, Arkansas. As a child Jaquon always dreamed. What did he dream about? He does not remember, just know that he did have have them as most children do. Our young starry-eyed protagonist was the youngest born into a family full of artists. Due to his color blindness, Jaquon decided at an early age art was not a possibility for him. At the age of twelve our young artist-to-be began to try new hobbies. After not considering any sports as a hobby he settled with joining the band and played the trombone. Alas, his little lungs just couldn’t keep up with his ambitions, ( and playing at the football games didn’t sound fun) so our protagonist looked elsewhere to express himself creatively. Jaquon then found a love for drawing. Day after day he would draw, he found that art helped him feel closer to his late father. Jaquon was awarded the Combs scholarship from Southern Arkansas University and our protagonist sailed away to college. His time at SAU has helped him grow and hone his skills as an artist. He fell head over heels in love with creating surrealistic 3D models and world creation. He applied those skills in the creation of collaborative game development projects.
Our sources state that he is still attending Southern Arkansas University where he pursues a BFA and writes this Biography in third person. Our protagonist looks forward to the future and knows as long as he is an artist, he is going to love every minute of it.
Throughout my life I’ve see too many people question the beauty of the classic afro hairstyle.
This is a recreation of French impressionist Frederick Bazille’s Artist Studio Loft painting.
With this piece I wanted to create something inspired by the story of how Discordia, roman god of strife, started the trojan war with a golden apple.
